Adding Flavour to our clients’ hiring
Chameleon have been working with this International client for the last 3 years, a flavour and ingredients manufacturer for the food industry. The food ingredients sector, characterised through M&A, is defined by quality, pace, competition and high levels of client centricity.
Chameleon were tasked with supporting our client at a crucial point following a series of strategic acquisitions and an ambitious growth target to double the business in the next 4-5 years. Most sites across the network had either been acquired or grown organically and were based in remote locations. In addition, they were challenged in up-skilling the sites with external talent due to the location of the sites – Chameleon were chosen to be the Talent Acquisition partner to on-board the necessary talent to drive their operational objectives.
Critical to the talent agenda was the interest in highly skilled, seasoned individuals who had worked in ‘best in class’ environments and were able to make the cultural transition into a smaller, privately owned and growing business. We needed to target candidates with strong leadership and change led mindsets, who were able to increase operational efficiency of the plants and who would then upgrade the SLT teams on the respective sites.
We further sought to locate those with a competitive edge who could work at pace and demonstrate strong examples of talent development to protect the future of the site.

Crucial to our success has been building relationships at multiple levels across the organisation and meeting and speaking with all relevant stakeholders, from Talent Acquisition to C.O.O and Group HR Director. We have set about acting as a true brand ambassador and have brought the story of a high-growth food ingredients business to the market
