New Office – Melbourne, Australia

As we move into the new decade and Chameleon approach our 10th year in operation, we are now growing our footprint and opening a new office in Melbourne, Australia.  The city, winner of “Worlds Most Liveable City” 7 times out of the last 10 years (!), is ideally placed to help us access the world’s fastest growing economic region – shared timezones and office hours, multiple direct flights all over the continent and exceedingly well connected Airport and Container Port infrastructure.

As an executive search firm, operating on an international basis, Chameleon have always been a business that has operated across the globe:  Last Year Continental Europe accounted for 60% of our retained searches, North America 15%, South America 12% with the remainder split evenly between the UK and Asia.

With this in mind, we feel that the next area of growth for the business should be to concentrate on the Asian and Australasian market – this fits strategically with the majority of our Industry verticals with the region being a hub for raw materials, manufacturing and engineering and of course the subsequent transportation of materials and finished products.  By being based in the region, and having a committed focus here, we will be able to extend our service offerings to clients who are either headquartered in the region or have regional manufacturing hubs and plants.

We are building on what is already a well established network for Chameleon in the area with us having been successful in recent months in securing mandates and placements in Singapore, China, Hong Kong and the Philippines.  We very much look forward to visiting and working with new and existing clients as we build the next pillar of our business.
