Supporting the expansion of a Supply Chain Excellence function

Chameleon International started working with our client, within the retail sector, towards the end of 2013. The company, headquartered in central Europe, has grown to become a multinational corporate, employing over 30,000 worldwide, with a globally recognisable brand name.

Our initial engagement was within the main manufacturing facility as the client was building an Operational Excellence team, following a 6-month planning process with a management consultancy.  Chameleon were given the task to find Lean professionals that could act as internal consultants, subsequently filling multiple mandates in the team.

Following this success, Chameleon were invited to facilitate the expansion of the Supply Chain Excellence function in the other site. Over a period of around 2 years we fulfilled the following requirements:

  • Project Manager – Supply Chain
  • Director – Centre of Business Excellence
  • Knowledge Manager – Customs
  • Business Process Manager
  • Head of Project Management and Strategic Support
  • Knowledge Manager SCM Solutions
  • Head of Project and Process Management
  • SAS Technical Analyst

Location was a major difficulty with all these searches as the surrounding area does not possess the requisite talent pool to fill these specialist roles.
